At The Eighth Day Soap Co., every bar of soap and handmade piece carries a piece of our heart, our home, and our faith.
Founded by Kalee alongside her partner, Sean, our brand was born out of a desire to create something pure, meaningful, and grounded in purposeful living. We are both warriors in Christ—Jesus saved us, and together we made the decision to break free from our traumatic pasts. Through every trial and hardship, God refined us. We believe His chosen ones often go through the most, not to be broken, but to be made holy so they can light the path for others.
Out of those hardships came wisdom, gratitude, and a calling to build a beautiful, light-filled life for our children—giving them the peace, love, and foundation we didn't have growing up. To us, the "Eighth Day" represents that exact promise: new beginnings, renewal, and living each day in service to our Heavenly Father.
That spirit of redemption and service reaches beyond our home. Alongside our hand-poured soaps and faith-inspired pieces, our heart for ministry fuels our vision for VETERANch—a future sanctuary dedicated to housing, restoring, and uplifting homeless veterans, helping them find healing, dignity, and purpose.
Every soap recipe is mindfully formulated by hand using simple, nourishing ingredients—like raw honey, colloidal oatmeal, and fermented rice water—crafted with love, intention, and prayer.
